Refunds

Updated 3 November 2026. This page sums up sections 13 and 14 of the terms; if the two differ, the terms apply.

Basic is free

Basic costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.

Where Pro is bought

Today Pro is bought only in the Stableside app for Android, through Google Play. Google Play takes the payment, and a refund goes back through Google Play to the payment method you used.

We are adding a way to buy Pro on this website. Orders there will be processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and merchant of record: Paddle will take the payment, handle the tax, send your receipt and make any refund, and Paddle's buyer terms will apply to the payment. Everything on this page will apply to those orders in the same way.

Cancelling

You can cancel Pro at any time in the Google Play app, under Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your Stableside account does not cancel the subscription.

The free trial

If Google Play offers you a free trial when you buy, you pay nothing if you cancel before the trial ends, and Pro stays on until then.

The 14-day right to withdraw

If you are a consumer living in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you can withdraw from your first purchase of Pro within 14 days of the day you bought it, without giving a reason, even if you have used Pro. Use Withdraw from contract here, email hello@stableside.app with "withdraw" in the subject, or ask Google Play for a refund. We refund the full amount within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, at no cost to you.

Other refunds

Apart from the right to withdraw and any right the law gives you, a period you have started is not refunded. Google Play may also give refunds under its own policy. If we stop offering Pro, or close Stableside, we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
